Meeting a Blogging Friend

Just over 2 weeks ago, I made a trip to Oshkosh to meet a blogging friend. Oshkosh is about 45 minutes from my home. I met up there with Marie aka Olde Lady Morgan. She made the 3 1/2 hour trip up to spend some time with her hubby who was working at the EAA Air Show & to do some shopping. I was lucky enough to be her guide for the day. We started out at a prim shop in Ripon called Simpler Times. She had already been there a few days before & found some fabulous goodies. I found some things I would have loved to have, but I'm at the point that if I can't figure out where it will go in my house, it has to stay at the store. So~I behaved & didn't buy anything.

Marie is such a generous lady. She brought me some wonderful gifties....Don't you just love my pumpkin man??
She also gifted me with one of her wonderful hand stitched pumpkins. Love his expression!! She also included one of her fabulous pumpkin flatties. I avoided bringing them into the house (they were hanging out in the back of my truck) because I knew I would want to decorate for Fall.'s WAY too earlyfor that.
Well last night, they came in for their photo shoot. I have so many things I want to blog about. I figured I better get to it.

Marie & I hit up a couple of antique shops too & went to Primitive Gatherings (wonderful quilt shop) before having to call it a day. Those goodies will show up in another post.

It was a great day. I only wish I had taken a few more pictures.

I'm sure most of you are familiar with Marie & her blog, but if you aren' on the link with her name above to visit her. She sells her wonderfully prim goodies & I know you're lovin my goodies from her.

I also wanted to let you know that I love to hear from you. I know I'm not always the best at responding to your comments, but know that I appreciate each & every one.

Off to try to finish up some things before work have a good night.

Hugs to you all~Becky

Looks like there might be some awesome goodies wrapped in those packages..

Wonderful candle...Cinnamon roll scented. Smells divine.

Oh my!!! Love my new ditty bag. I love rabbits & the color blue. Theresa knew just the thing for me. Made by her hands. I'll add some sweet annie to the bag. Love! Love! Love!

Next up was this fabulous Jackie Schmidt doll. She was lucky enough to have won a group of her dolls on ebay & decided to share. Lucky me!!

She also made me this beautiful pinkeep. It's a big one...measuring 7 1/2 x 5.

And last, but not least she made me this lovely rabbit doll. I collect rabbits & leave them out year round. This little girl is right at home with my other dolls.
