Happy St. Patrick's Day, Tweaking, & One Last Teaser

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day. I was supposed to be going to Iowa to check out Gatherings today with my mom, but we decided to head down there next week instead. That will give us a little time to see if we can find any quilt shops or other prim shops on our way. So, if you know of any quilt shops or prim shops in the Anamosa, Iowa area, please let me know.

I've been doing some cleaning & tweaking in my sewing room & thought I would share some pics.

This grouping is on the top of my pie safe.

My collection of old textile bobbins.

Bobbin sign, bobbins, doll bed with antique quilt.

My favorite hooked rug by Rhonda of My Glory Stars. She does beautiful work & if you haven't seen her work, head on over to her blog. You will not be disappointed.

My huge shelf got a good scrubbing & I did a little tweaking there. The big white cabinet (not prim at all) houses my sewing machine & lots & lots of fabrics & patterns.

My button collection & a jar of wool worms. Someday I will go back to hooking rugs.

Center view of the shelf with goodies.

This view is the far right side of the shelf. I added my $5 garage sale cabinet that I repainted. Love it up there.

And here is my final teaser picture. I'm doing a swap with Old Lady Morgan & we're having tons of fun teasing each other. This is my last project to finish before I ship off her box o goodies. Hmm...can you guess what it will be?

I just sent out one swap package for Lecia at Farmhouse Prims & am almost done with my Pickled Pepper Patch swap. Jenn~Busy Bee is my partner for that one.

Have a wonderful day~Becky

You can come and dust and tweak my areas any time. I am about 1 1/2 hours south of Anamosa. The Motorcycle Museum is there and that's where we met the American Pickers. World's largest truck stop is in Walcott, near there on I80. I don't know about any shops but Wanda will know. :)

Something WONDERFUL! LOL! What fun you will have with your swap and trip to Iowa! I would love to head down there sometime. I like your sewing room. Mine needs major organization, something that doesn't come natural to me at all. If I got it straightened out, I could actually utilize it!
Have a good weekend.
Blessings,
Renee

Becky I love your bobbin collection. I have one too but they are packed away for now. I will have to post a picture of the rug I hooked. I haven't worked on any in a long time and after looking at yours I will start again. Have a great weekend!

Love your displays in the sewing room. My sewing room is a mess right now. Everytime I put things away, I find I need them. Oh well, its my room anyway, no one else's. I guess it is a sign of a creative mind when things are messy. What do you think?
