Works in Progress & Some Finishes

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I have to go back to work tonight so this is the end of my 4 days off. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I did get quite a few goodies started.

Big pile of mice....These have been great sellers at my shows for the past few years so I've decided to make them again. I try to do something different with them each year. I have adult size mice & babies. The babies get put on pumpkins & candy canes. The adults turn into witches & santas. Lots of prep work on these.

I've also been working on some advertising pumpkins.

Managed to finish them up. Pattern is by My Primitive Saltbox. I used real pumpkin stems for some of them & corn cobs for the others. Love how they turned out.

That's it for me today. Working 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for 3 days starting tonight. Yuck!! That's what happens when you're "chosen" to do special projects. Aren't I lucky??

Enjoy your evening~Becky

Nice work on those pumpkins Beckyjean.
Have a good night at work. Those hours would be tough.

Becky, I love your pumpkins. How is it that we never get as much done as we want to while we are off work? School starts 2 weeks from today and I haven't gotten as much done as I wanted to either! ~Ann

I keep seeing those "Farm Ad" pumpkins popping up all over Blogland and I LOVE them....I'm either gonna have to find some to buy or...heaven forbid, buy the pattern and actually try to find my sewing machine!! And your mice are looking good...Every time I see those little things, I think the folks who make them must be nuts...such tiny little details...arghhh..I'd be having fits. Sorry you have to work - you must be good at what you do to be chosen for special projects!! Happy Tuesday to you! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Hi Becky, make sure you show the mice when you are finished. I don't think I could make something that small. I love mice, just not the real ones. And love your new pumpkins. Hope all goes well at work. Hugs, Lecia

LOVE your pumpkins. I don't think we ever get as much done as we had planned/hoped. There just aren't enough hours in the day.
That's a tough work schedule. Good luck to you!

Such a bummer when you gotta to go to work when you just want to be creative. Doesn't sound like a fun shift. I hope you have a good night and your next few days of work go fast for you.
Your creations are all wonderful!

Hi Becky Jean: I really admire your productivity! That's a lot of stitching and stuffing. I know things always take longer to complete than I anticipate! I don't envy your upcoming hours, but hopefully you'll get another block of time at home to finish up your projects! ~Roberta
