Craft Show Pics

I'm back today & here to show you some pics from my show this weekend. But first I would like to thank all of you for the nice welcome back to blogging.

I had two big shows back to back & boy oh boy did I sell the goodies. Yippee for me!! I'm hoping this means our economy is on the rebound finally.

My first show was a 2 day show at an historic farm. I am lucky enough to be in a barn on the property. I wish I had remembered my camera for that one, but forgot it 3 days in a row. The weather was beautiful & the sales were excellent.

My show this past Saturday was closer to home. It was held on the beautiful grounds of Holy Hill. Again we were blessed with good weather & a buying crowd. Here are some pics from that day. Thought I had more, but I guess I was too busy checking out all the vendors to take many photos.

This little guy was my only purchase. Love him!! I do needle punch, but decided he was just too cute not to take home with me.

And here is my booth. I wish I could think of a nicer set up, but don't want to haul more for display than I am selling, so this will have to work.

Some Fall/Halloween goodies...

More Fall goodies...

My make do Halloween tree. I used an old metal funnel & some tree branches to hang some ornies. Love how this looked & will be using this in my home this year (if I can find somewhere to put it where it won't get knocked around.)

Pumpkin man...

Pumpkin ornie.... this one is attached to my Witchy Mouse, but I did make some to sell as ornies.

Love how these guys turned out. I should have kept them for myself. Pattern by Soft in the Head. Sold them for too little $$$~should have put a higher price on them. Oh well~they are all sold. Will be making more for me.

Wish I would have taken more pics. Maybe for the next show I'll remember.

Hope you're all having a wonderful Monday. It was my first day back to work & it was brutal. Couldn't sleep last night, so I'm a wee bit tired.

Off to see what you're all up to!!

Have a lovely evening~Becky

Busy...Busy...Busy.. & New Goodie

Happy Thursday Blogging Friends!! It sure is a hot & humid one here in Wisconsin. I've been busy trying to get some goodies finished up for my first show which is next weekend. I've been missing all of you. I've been trying to stay off the blogs~I give myself 10 minutes each day to scroll through the postings. By the time I do that, there is no time to stop in & visit any blogs. I will have lots of catching up to do. Just wanted you to all know that I am still around just not blogging.

Wanted to show you a recent purchase I made for myself. I love cross stitch & when I saw this piece by Nan of Threadworks Primitives, I just had to have it. I have admired her work for a long time & finally purchased one of her pieces. I am so glad I did. Her work is wonderful. It is hanging from my blue cupboard~the perfect spot for it!!

I will show some of my finished goodies soon!!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend~Becky

Linda Claus Strikes Again

Happy Sunday!! Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!! We're having beautiful sunny cool weather. I've been crafting up a storm for my upcoming shows. Not getting too much finished, but I'm trying.

I want to show you some wonderful goodies that showed up at my doorstep last week. A totally unexpected package arrived from a very sweet lady. She's been spreading cheer throughout blogland with her goodies & has earned the nickname of Linda Claus. I think the name came from Little Raggedy Angie, but I'm not sure. Anyway this sweetie in none other than Linda of Parker's Paradise. You can find her here http://parkersparadise.blogspot.com/.

Here's what she sent me...

These nice quilted pillow shams (she said they were packing...I like her packing materials).... Okay I somehow erased the picture of the shams, so I added it back in but can't move it from the top of the page.

One of her awesome baby shoe pinkeeps...... Can you see it with all my others??

Here's a closer shot of my new pinkeep....

One of her wonderful stitched pictures... Bless this Home.... I put this on top of my cabinet that is at the entrance to my home. A wonderful reminder each time someone enters.

And this wonderful little Americana pillow...

I added it to my basket with my other little pillows. Can you see it peeking out??? Love it!!

Thank you so much Linda!! You really know how to brighten someone's day. I'm honored that it was my day to be brightened!!

Please know that I am reading & enjoying all your wonderful comments. I am a little strapped for time with 2 big shows coming up & haven't been responding to comments. I do enjoy them though & will continue to read them. Give me a few weeks & I will be back.

Have a wonderful week my blogging friends!!

Hugs~Becky

Goodies in the Mail & Mice

Happy Wednesday Friends!!

I've been busy working on craft show goodies so I've been absent from blogging for a bit. I've checked in on you from time to time, but haven't commented much. I also haven't responded to all your wonderful comments. I want you all to know that I am reading them & appreciate them all. So thank you all for your kind comments.

My mailman delivered a wonderful package about a week ago. I had ordered some goodies from Brenda at http://therustythimble.blogspot.com/ & you should have seen me rip into my package of goodies. I ordered this beautiful pillow made from an old quilt....

And her prim Americana Rabbit. Isn't he just prim perfect??

Love him!!!

I also ordered another goodie, but can't show it cuz it's a Christmas gift. Brenda's goodies are fabulous. If you are not familiar with her work, check her out. You won't be disappointed. As a bonus, her furbaby recently had puppies & you can get your puppy fix on her blog.

And here are a couple of the goodies I've been working on for my shows.

Prim Uncle Sam Mouser...

Prim witch mouser...

They are hard to get a good picture of, but they fly out of my booth every year. I also made some Santa mice, but forgot to take a picture before packing them away.

I got another package in the mail from a little sneaky Santa so check back. I'll be posting those pics soon!!

Enjoy your evening~Becky

Works in Progress & Some Finishes

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I have to go back to work tonight so this is the end of my 4 days off. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I did get quite a few goodies started.

Big pile of mice....These have been great sellers at my shows for the past few years so I've decided to make them again. I try to do something different with them each year. I have adult size mice & babies. The babies get put on pumpkins & candy canes. The adults turn into witches & santas. Lots of prep work on these.

I've also been working on some advertising pumpkins.

Managed to finish them up. Pattern is by My Primitive Saltbox. I used real pumpkin stems for some of them & corn cobs for the others. Love how they turned out.

That's it for me today. Working 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for 3 days starting tonight. Yuck!! That's what happens when you're "chosen" to do special projects. Aren't I lucky??

Enjoy your evening~Becky
