I'm slowly getting my Mojo back & decided it's time to jump into Misi's weekly display chain. This week's theme is A Crafting Secret Exposed.
Because I was goofing around on Pinterest again this evening, I have no pics to share, but I do have a tip to share.
So here goes:
Tip #1 I learned this years ago & it still comes in handy. To stuff small dolls or parts such as fingers & toes fill a drinking straw with fiberfill. Stick the straw down into the part to be stuffed & push the stuffing out of the straw. I use a small wooden skewer to get the stuffing out of the straw. It works wonders.
The other thing I would love to share is always take some hand work with you when going to appointments such as the doctor or dentist. While waiting to be called in, pull out your project & get to work. You'll be amazed at what you can get accomplished.
Thanks to Misi for hosting the weekly chain. Hop on over to see what "secrets" others have posted or to join in.
Have a great night~Becky

Happy Monday All. Today is a day off & I'm trying to get my chores done so I can work on some projects. It's windy & sprinkling outside~perfect for creating.
Here he is in the truck on the way home. Hubby asked if I was going to belt him in. Hehe. He thinks I'm a little crazy.
Have a great week!! I'm off to try to get something done.

Part of the Reason I've Been Absent from Blogging
I thought I would share some pictures of my vacation with all of you.I spent a week in Mexico with some girlfriends. We had a wonderful time shopping, eating, drinking, & hanging out at the beach. We stayed right on the beach & it was fabulous.
This is the pool area.Pic from our room on the 6th floor.
Enjoying the sights & sounds of the ocean.
If you couldn't walk to your destination, you rode on these golf cart taxis. Fun!! Fun!!
And this is their Kmart. Hehe!!
It's nice to have some memories of warm weather on a cold, rainy day.
Have a wonderful weekend all~Becky

I'm Still Here and A Long Overdue Thank You
Hello Blogging Friends~
Just popping in to let you all know that I am doing fine. I've just been super busy. Thank you for emailing me to check up on me.
I have to work today, but wanted to say a very very belated Thank you to Lil Raggedy Angie. She had a giveaway over a month ago & I was one of the lucky winners. I think she knew I was struggling with my creating because she sent me a wonderful pattern with some beautiful fabrics. Thank you so much Angie. Unfortunately, I haven't touched the goodies except to take them out of the box. I still haven't gotten my creating MOJO back yet. Make sure you stop by Angie's blog to say HI. You can find her here http://lilraggedyangie.blogspot.com/

Fabulous Recipe Found on Pinterest
Don't know what happened, but it's gone!! Yippee!! So while checking out pinterest for days & days, I decided to finally try one of the recipes that I pinned. I tried the Sweet & Spicy Bacon wrapped Chicken & it was fabulous!! The best part about it, was it was super easy to make & I had all the ingredients. This is before baking.
And this is after it came out of the oven. The only thing I would do different was put it under the broiler for a bit to crisp up the bacon. I think it would also be great on the grill.
In other news, I'm on overnights for the next two weeks. Not looking forward to it.
Have a wonderful night all~Becky
