Cold, Snow, and the start of Christmas Decorating

Good Afternoon Friends~

Sunday morning I woke up to a winter wonderland. The snow started late on Saturday night & was letting up by Sunday morning. We ended up with 10 inches of the white stuff.

I wish I could have stayed home, but off to work I headed. It was a rough drive in. It had rained before turning into snow & the roads were awful. We were in full blizzard mode. The wind was whipping & there were times I could not see where I was going. I made it to work safely.

Here is another view from my back porch. Isn't the snow pretty?

I'm off today & finally getting around to some decorating for the season. It's in the low teens with a below zero wind chill, so it's the perfect day to stay in & do some decorating. Here is a little sneak peak. The dresser was my Grandma's & it's perfect sitting in the entry of my living room.

Here is a close up of the top of my cubby which sits on top of the dresser. The little snowman picture is my very first punch needle project.

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. I'll be sharing more decorating in the next few days. Thanks for visiting & hope you stop back to visit again soon.

Hugs~Becky

Looking forward to seeing more pics of your Christmas decorating, Becky! What you have posted looks wonderful. It is frigid here in NJ, but we only had a dusting of snow this morning. Enough to make it look pretty outside without all the shoveling!

Hi Becky,
Oh my wasn't that some storm that went through Wisconsin???? I haven't seen it blow that much in years - and snow so much so early.
Hope you are having an enjoyable Christmas season.
