It's time for the display chain again hosted by Misi of http://1890gablehousemusings.blogspot.com/. She hosts the display chain each week & allows us to share ideas & inspiration with each other. This week's theme is Quilts & boy do I have a lot.
WARNING~This is a picture laden post, so be prepared. You may want to grab a cup of coffee, tea, a soft drink, some snacks....He he...Just kidding about the snacks!!
I have been quilting for about 15 years & it's an addiction!! I keep on buying more fabric. I have enough to last my lifetime & I just keep on buying.
Anyway, I have made most of these quilts (antique ones excluded of course). I will let you browse at your leisure without too many comments. Feel free to enlarge the pics for a better view but please excuse the dust.
Here goes....First up~chair with antique quilt seat. The lovely dolly (Becky) is from a swap I did with Marie aka Olde Lady Morgan. Isn't she wonderful??
This one is called Pineapple Pie. It hangs in my dining room.
This quilt is small~about 15" square & took FOREVER to make.
Antique quilt in my sewing room.
Shower curtain. I made a matching valance for my window.

Head over to Misi's blog today to post your "Quilts". You will have fun & find lots of inspiration. You'll also have a chance to win this little quilt. It is made from reproduction Civil War fabrics. I wasn't sure I wanted to part with it, but know it will go to a good home. All of the ladies who have participated in the chain have wonderful blogs & it is a pleasure to visit them each week . I know we all love a package from Misi, but I thought she might like a little break this week.
