I would like to thank each & every one of you for your prayers for our family. It meant so much to me to hear from so many of you. Your kind words gave me strength.
My dear father in law passed away on Easter Sunday of a massive heart attack. He was 73 years old & so full of life. What makes his passing so difficult, is he left us a giant mess. We are still sifting through mounds of papers & other things looking for important papers. Nothing is together. My mother in law did not know where anything was. He took care of the household. She doesn't even drive. It will be a long process, but we will manage.
Thank you all for listening.
Now, back to my giveaway. I will post the winners tomorrow. I will draw a name for the quilt & pinkeep dolly. I will then pick a second winner, because thanks to you all, I have made it to 200+ friends. And I will pick a third winner for making you all wait for me. Winner #2 & #3 will each get a pinkeep dolly. I'll even let you choose the dress color.
Thank you all again for your thoughts & prayers in our time of sorrow.
Blessings~Becky

Please Give Me a Few Days
We lost my dear father in law yesterday to a heart attack. I am postponing the drawing for my giveaway for a few days so that I can spend time with family to start the healing process. Thank you so much for your understanding. I will draw the winners in a few days. Sorry.

Final Scavenger Hunt
Today is a bittersweet day for me.
I am posting my very last post for the scavenger hunt hosted by Misi of 1890 Gable House Musings.
Everyone was having so much fun with this. We didn't want it to end. So Misi split the final hunt into 3 parts.
This is part three~Flowers & Furbabies (any age).....flowers or furbabies, your choice.
Bucket of flowers. Again, Becky wasn't about to give up her chair. Especially when there were some lovely flowers for her to sit next to.
These next two are the only flowers blooming in my yard. I can't wait for more.
A couple of faux flowers.
And this is our furbaby~Zoey. I took this picture this morning & she's saying "Really Ma!! I was snoozing & ya had to go & stick a camera in my face!!"
Zoey & Cody last June.
Zoey cuddled up with Stephen on our way home from snowmobiling this winter.
And of course, her favorite thing to do~hanging out with Stephen watching You Tube videos.
There you have my final hunt.
A big hug goes out to Misi for hosting such a fun hunt. I know everyone who participated had a blast.
Have a beautiful day~Becky

Display Chain~Easter Displays
It's Tuesday & time again for the display chain hosted by Misi at 1890 Gable House Musings.
This week's theme was picked by Robyn. She chose Easter displays.
I've shown most of mine already, but I have a few new ones.
It was a beautiful day, so I spent some time outside after work. I hauled a couple of goodies outside for this picture. A williraye santa riding a rabbit (kept out year round) paired with a bucket of flowers.
Rusty bunny looks like he's munching on my tulips.
I'm patiently waiting for something to bloom. Nothing today yet, but soon I hope.
Make sure to hop over to Misi's blog to see other lovely displays.
Enjoy your evening~Becky
My Giveaway a Few Days Late
Good Afternoon Friends! It's a beautiful sunny day here in Wisconsin & boy does the sun feel good on my face.
I want to apologize for the late posting of my giveaway. I know I promised to post it on Sunday, but I've had to do a lot of thinking the last couple of days & just didn't feel like posting anything. Nothing bad, just a lot to think about. More about that later~you all want to know what you can possibly win.
I'm giving away this little quilt & a sewing pocket dolly (dolly pattern by Barefoot Primitives).
The little quilt is 10 x14 and is made up of 25 different fabric squares. The border is tan & the binding is blace. It has been tea stained.
The dolly is about 9 inches long & is made from tea stained muslin. Her dress is navy blue & has a wool stitched on heart.
She has 2 little pockets for scissors or what nots.
Now for the details:
1. You must be a follower of my blog & comment on this post only. New friends are always welcome. = 1 entry
2. You must live in the United States or Canada.
3. Posting on your blog = 1 entry. Please let me know if you do this.
4. Blogging about my giveaway= 2 entries. Please let me know you are doing this.
That's 4 chances to enter.
If I reach 200 friends before the drawing, I will pick 2 winners. Not sure what the second prize will be yet, maybe another little dolly???
Drawing will be held on April 25th (my mom's birthday. Winner (or winners) will have 1 week to contact me or I will pick another winner.
I'll be back later to post for today's display chain. I'm off to enjoy some of this sun before it's gone.

Generosity of Bloggers & New Magazine
Happy Saturday my blogging friends.
I want to tell you about a wonderfully talented & generous lady in blogland. Many of you probably know who Madalynne is, but this is for those of you that are not familiar with her. Her blog is named Pineapple Primitives & I guarantee you will love it. She recently had an Early Bird gets the Worm giveaway & I was one of the lucky girls who won a piece of her work.
Meet Miss Sparrow~one of 10 she gave away. Sorry about the poor picture quality. It dark & dreary here today & no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to get a decent picture.
Miss Sparrow is just beautiful. Madalynne's attention to detail is amazing. She made her home on my little shelf with my pinkeeps & little spools where I can enjoy her every day.
Thank you Madalynne~I will cherish Miss Sparrow always.
And look what showed up in my mailbox today~my issue of PRIMITIVE QUILTS & PROJECTS magazine. I haven't paged through it yet, but the designers that are featured are many of my favorites. To get your own subscription, visit primitive quilts & projects here.
Well~I'm off to page through my new magazine & pick up the house. I heard the H (hoarder) word again this morning & I'm on a mission to hide all my stuff.
I'll also be completing my giveaway project today. Be on the lookout tomorrow for the picture & the details.
Have a great Saturday friends!!
Becky
