Happy Sunday!!

I hope you all had a wonderful day. I spent most of the day with a friend at the flea market. It was cold, windy, & rainy, but it was also a lot of fun. Some of the vendors packed up & left, but many others braved the nasty weather. When we were getting ready to head for home, the sun decided to peek out from behind the clouds. We decided to walk the grounds one more time to see what we missed under the tarps that the vendors had used to try to keep their wares dry. I only came home with one goodie, but I love it. Can you guess what it is??? Did ya guess the big wooden cubby?? Then you would be right!! My friend came home with an old blue metal wagon. She's going to use it for flowers. How did you spend your Sunday??

Have a wonderful week!!

Tuesday Display Chain...Spring Cleaning

Happy Tuesday All~

It's time again for Tuesday's Display Chain. I have missed posting for the chain for a couple of weeks. This weeks theme is Spring Cleaning. Misi usually hosts, but she is taking a little time off, so Amy of http://bumblebeelanecottage.blogspot.com/ volunteered to host. I don't have much to offer this week, but I did manage a couple of pics. Quilts airing out on the clothesline is my first offering.

Ironing the freshly laundered table coverings.

And an old iron & clothespins.

Long Overdue Thank You's

Happy Saturday Blogging Friends~

This post is to thank 2 wonderful bloggers. This thank you is long overdue. My first thank you goes to Cheri Payne of http://quiltsbycheri.blogspot.com/. She is a wonderful pattern designer & quilter. She has a giveaway each month & I was the April winner. I just love this little quilt & am especially proud to own a piece of her work. Please check out her blog if you get a chance. Her quilts are wonderfully folky.

My second thank you goes to Mandy of http://bittersweetfolkartprimitives.blogspot.com/. I received this wonderful bottle of room spray from her. She was participating in the Pay it Forward & I commented on her blog. Even though I commented to not count me as one of her 5 to send a giftie to (I had already commented for a goodie from Rhonda of http://itsakattywhompuslife.blogspot.com/) , she decided to send my something anyway. Mandy is a pattern designer also & makes wonderfully prim dollies. Check her out too if you get a chance.

I hope you all are having a beautiful Saturday!! I enjoyed the warmth & sunshine today.

Have a terrific evening~Becky

Drum Roll Please.... The Winners Are......

Happy Sunday friends~

I have finally gotten my act together & have drawn the winners for my giveaway. But first I have to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for your prayers & kind comments on the passing of my Father in Law. I appreciate you all.

I picked up quite a few new followers & have slowly been visiting. I have not have had time to visit you all yet, but I will be around to visit each & every one of you. I welcome you all.

And to the friends that have been with me for a while, I want you all to know how much I appreciate you all. If you are like me, you follow many blogs, so commenting isn't always an option (unless you have all day to spend online). I do read & appreciate all your comments when you have time to leave them. Thank you for sticking with me.

I had quite a few entries. Most of you had multiple entries....thanks for spreading the word.

Now for the drum roll.....

The bowl is full as you can see. As I was stirring up the papers, many of you were jumping out screaming "PICK ME!! PICK ME!!" I had to put you back & pick just one name at a time.

The winner of the little quilt & sewing dolly is....

Ann from 1803 Ohio Baskets.

Lisa of Moonlit Stitch is the second winner. Lisa you win a sewing pocket dolly.

And the bonus winner is Jean from Prim Crafts.

I have to make two pocket dollies yet, so ladies if you have a dress color preference, let me know when you email me. I'll do my best to make the dress color what you request. Ann, if you would like another dress color, let me know. You can choose the original doll or choose another dress color.

I will give you ladies until next Sunday to contact me with your info. If I do not hear from you by Sunday, I will pick another name. Please email me at primitivesnstitchin at hotmail dot com with dress color & shipping info.

Thank you all for playing along with me. I'm sure I'll host another giveaway soon.

Have a beautiful Sunday!!

Big Hugs~Becky
